Lisa Crayton publishes Spirit-Led Writer, an online magazine twice named by Writer's Digest as a "Best Web Site for Writers." An award-winning freelancer, she is the author of two books, including I Want to Talk to My Teen about Money Management from Standard. Lisa serves as a mentor with the Jerry B. Jenkins Christian Writers' Guild, co-moderates The Christian Writers View 2 online group, and teaches at writers' conferences across the country. Carol Hayes is on the English faculty of Gannon University and has taught at Edinboro University of PA and Mercyhurst College. She has also led writing seminars in New York, Wisconsin, and Texas. While a Gannett newspaper journalist, she wrote beat stories and features; her fiction and poetry have appeared in regional magazines. She earned her MFA in Writing at Vermont College of Norwich University. Carol will be teaching a two-class workshop titled "Poetry and Prose: Resist the Separation." |

Barbara Hibschman is a popular speaker in the U.S. and abroad. She holds a M. Ed. and is the author of 8 books, including A Heart for Imbabura. She has also had hundreds of magazine articles published and is a contributing author to 14 inspirational books. In 1992 she received the "Writer of the Year" award from the Greater Philadelphia CWC. She and her husband Jim serve as a pastoral care couple for missionaries around the world. Marsha Hubler has a M. Ed. from Bloomsburg University and has been an educator for over 35 years. She has co-founded and served as an administrator for two private schools, and presently works with homeschoolers. She is the author of the Keystone Stable Series from Zonderkidz. The Trouble with Sky is a bestseller. She's presently writing books 7 and 8 of the series, which are scheduled for release in spring of 2009. Marsha will be offering a four-class continuing workshop on "Writing for Children/Young Adults from A to Z." |

Jane Kirkpatrick is the best-selling, award-winning author of 14 historical novels and two nonfiction books. A Sweetness to the Soul received the Wrangler Award from the Western Heritage Center, an award won previously by James Michener and Larry McMurty. Evelyn Minshull is the author of 26 books, her most recent being four novels in the Guideposts Church Choir mystery series and a picturebook titled Eaglet's World. Her credits also include hundreds of articles, short stories, poems, and plays. A former creative writing teacher in public schools, she has taught over fifty weeklong courses at elderhostels. She is also the director of the St. Davids satellite conference in Mercer. Evelyn will lead a writers' retreat for published authors. |

Melanie Rigney a past editor of Writer's Digest magazine has also served as judge for its writing competitions and editorial director of Writer's Digest Books. She has more than 25 years experience as an editor and writer and has edited and evaluated manuscripts for dozens of clients. Melanie is also a writer-editor with the Department of the Treasury and oversees content on twenty-five of its web sites. She will be offering one-on-one tutorials at the conference. |

Gayle Roper is the author or co-author of 40 books, including the Task Force Valor series from Multnomah and See No Evil from Steeple Hill. She has won the Holt Medallion three times, the 2004 Romance Writers' of America's RITA Award for Best Inspirational Romance of the Year, and the Inspirational Readers' Choice Book of the Year.
