The 56th annual

St. Davids Christian Writers' Conference

June 18-22, 2013

Grove City College, Grove City, PA

Theme: "Loaves and Fishes"

loaves and fishes

Jesus said, “You feed them.”

“But we have only five loaves of bread and two fish,” they answered.

Luke 9:13 (NLT)

We Christian writers are called to feed the spiritually hungry. We often feel, however, that the little we can offer is woefully inadequate for the task.

We forget our Lord can multiply that little to proportions we would never have thought possible. We just have to be willing to place our few loaves and fishes--our abilities and talents--in His hands.

If you want help in kneading those abilities or netting those talents, St. Davids can help! We offer 56 years of experience in educating writers, plus:

You can view, in the column to your right, some of the outstanding instructors who will be joining us in 2013. Click on "workshops" in the navigation bar to be taken to a list of the courses they will be teaching.

For those of you who want more one-on-one interaction with an instructor, we offer tutorials for an extra fee. We are also introducing a writers' colony, for more experienced authors who simply want to get away from the cares of everyday life to write.

We provide a wide range of contests as well. Please click on information to learn more about the conference. Although we no longer publish a brochure, you can also click on Audrey Stallsmith, registrar to ask that your name be added to our e-mail list.

For those of you who can't attend in June--or who just can't get enough of St. Davids--we also sponsor a one-day mini-conference in Stoneboro, PA in April.

We invite you to come and develop the abilities that will allow you--with God's help--to feed a hungry world!

Rainbow Bridge at Grove City College

St. Davids originated in the eastern Pennsylvania town of that name, as a ministry of the American Baptist Churches. But the St. Davids Christian Writers' Association is now an independent, nonprofit, interdenominational organization.

As such, we welcome believers from all branches of the Christian family, as well as conscientious writers from other walks of life who are interested in making the most of their talents.
